“China National Festival Summit” has been continuously held for two years, receiving highly appreciation and support from all walks of life.
The third China National Festival Summit will be held in September 2012. The summit is undertaken by CNFC under the guidance of State Ethnic Affairs Commission, striving for the support of Ministry of Culture, National Tourism Administration and other organizations. The summit will also invite the representatives of regional festival organizations, ethnic festival professionals and relevant news media.
At the same time, in order to build the image of national festivals, “China Outstanding Festivals” competition will start since this May, and the result will be released during the summit followed by the awarding ceremony. The voting event will insist the principle of “just, non-profit, and scientific”, in accordance with the evaluation criterion of IFEA, and free of charge. There are five awards: “the most characteristic national festivals”, “the international influential festivals” “the cultural charm festivals” and “the ten national festival figures”.
